Welcome
to my website! Here, I will show my latest experiments in renewable
energy. I'm approaching this subject with the assumption that the
modern green energy movement has been sabotaged for whatever reason and
turned into something weak and impractical that the vast majority of
the population will reject. When ever you mention green or renewable
energy, people automatically envision wind farms or large arrays of
solar panels. Unfortunately, only a few areas are suitable for those
types of power. They are also quite expensive to implement, often
taking decades before realizing any cost benefit of the "free" fuel. If you combine sunlight and wind, you get a renewable energy source called plant life. Most plants can be dried and burned as a fuel. Using gasification technology, smoke becomes a non issue. Since plants use carbon dioxide in their growth processes, any carbon dioxide released in combustion has no net effect on the environment, provided a good replanting program is in place. This heat can be used to turn water into steam, the prime mover of nearly all power generation plants. To make all this work together, efficient means of harvesting fuel, combusting that fuel, generating power, and collecting waste heat to be used for other purposes needs to be achieved. On a home scale production level, repurposed small engines, air compressors, induction motors, alternators, etc can be put to good use to generate electricity for next to no start up cost. Smart renewable energy is only part of the solution. Better home construction techniques are needed to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. More efficient appliances and vehicles are needed as well. So to launch this site, I will be uploading information in the form of articles, photographs, and videos that illustrate my quest to produce my own energy. I hope the information will be inspiring. Please note that all information presented here is for academic purposes only and illustrates what one individual has done in his personal quest for energy production. All forms of energy production have inherent risks, so any attempt to duplicate the information found on this website is done at your risk and liability alone.
